This site is about making Torah work for you. It can serve as a reference of how to apply torah in your life. If you are a beginner in learning Torah principles, You can start with the ten commandments. When I am doing a spiritual flush, I go into detail in cleaning out my spiritual life. Everyone has their own set of principles that work for them. One of the reasons why some don't become cleansed is because they are not thorough with applying the law in their lives. I will use the ten commandments to demonstrate how you can do a spiritual cleanse. There are many other areas in the Torah that you can use as a formula for a spiritual detox. Some of you may have more powerful solutions. Some use psalms to combat depression and a lack of faith. Psalms is also a good spiritual formula to improve on your spiritual strength. You can trouble shoot and identify areas that you can improve on.
TEN COMMANDMENTS
I am the YHVH thy ELOHIM, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other ELOHIM beside me.
This commandment may be one but it does many things. It brings us into remembrance of who THE MOST HIGH POWER IS. It reminds us of where we came from; our past. That is a house of bondage in the land of Egypt. To have no other ELOHIM but YHVH means that we should not hold anything in esteem greater than YHVH.
Every now and again I do a filter. I filter all the things that had caused some distraction. I cut people off that aren't supportive of YHVH as an Elohim. They are clutter in my spiritual journey. I reduce my TV time. I make a 360 degree turn and come out of my spiritual Egypt. I give up everything that is keeping me in a mental bondage. There shall be nothing that stands in the way of me serving my Elohim. I start my meditation with honoring YHVH as an Elohim. I approach the great creator with that in mind. Then I move on to his loving kindness. He brought us out of Egypt and I am confident that he will bring me out of my spiritual and mental bondage. In order for this to happen I have to have to remove all distractions, attachments, burdens, grudges, feelings of inadequacies etc... Most people do this in their daily meditation but they do not relate it to the first commandment. Everything you need is in the Torah. This is how basic meditation goes. You approach Yah as a power source. You acknowledge his power. You acknowledge his saving hand. You acknowledge his ability to pass you over, up and out of your personal, spiritual and mental bondage. You detox and rise above everything around you. If you have never meditated, use the first commandment as a formula. Go into that first commandment with YHVH in your designated quiet space in your home and he will pass you over.
In my spiritual journey, I have seen many people go under. Some of them didn't cast away all of their Elohim. They wanted to watch TV on the Sabbath. They couldn't give up their friends, lovers or family members. They couldn't give up the practices that they were slaves to. Someone once said that anything that you are a slave to is considered as an Elohim. When you triumph over your spiritual Egypt, you can't look back. That should be a forbidden place in your life. Mark it as a place of no return. Make a list of all the things that you need to give up. Make a list of the people in your life that is just hanging on for the ride. Create a list of all the things that you waste time on. Time management helps you to create time and commit to studying the Torah. Cutting out the clutter helps you to find space for the new love of your life. Giving up the TV creates room for new spiritual entertainment. Limit your time on the phone and use that time to improve your efficiency. There are so many things that you can do to strengthen your spiritual life and keep you from going under.
Thou shalt not make for thyself any graven image
(carved idol) or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; thou shalt not bow down to them or serve them; for I the YHVH thy ELOHIM am a jealous ELOHIM, punishing the iniquities of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those that hate me; but showing mercy to thousands of generations of those that love me, and keep my commandments.
When you look on tzitzit it should remind you of the law. Go through your belongings and get rid of anything that supports idol worship. Don't compromise your faith. Our Elohim is very jealous for his name and for his glory. I come across people every now and again who steal glory that belongs to YAH. They assert themselves on the level of YAH. That is iniquity. Iniquity is as idolatry. Yah will visit your iniquity. Yah will not turn his eyes from your dishonesty, and your money hungry plays.
I Samuel 15:23 for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
That word INIQUITY that you just passively read over is one of the most powerful formulas for downfall. YAH HATES INIQUITY.
Please remember that YAH hates iniquity. Search out the iniquity in your life. 1 Samuel 15 has a very powerful story of how iniquity destroyed the first king of Israel.

When YAH gives you a mission he funds that mission, You don't need to take anyone's money. You don't need to get greedy in the face of YAH like Saul did. You don't need to take other people’s money to do YAH's work Yah funds all his missions.
Iniquity as defined by http://www.thefreedictionary.com/iniquity is injustice and wickedness. That word that you just passively read over is the cause of many going under. Wickedness and Injustice. I could write an entire book on those two topics. I will have to do a short explanation here. I have no intentions of being passive about iniquity. Injustice is a common practice. If people would realize how much the great creator hates injustice, some of them may turn away from its attributes.

As wiki quote says it can be any extreme desire.. People are greedy for wealth. They open up congregations just to claim 10% of incomes. Their heart, soul, eyes and energy are on that tithes. Greed is one of the components cited in spiritual abuse. They will beat you down mentally. They need to make you feel bad about yourself. Then you will need to feel good about yourself by giving excessively. Their congregations always need something. I will never be a part of a needy congregation again.
Greed is the root of all evil. It is one of the most deadly sins. It will cause a man who is greedy for power to assert himself on the level of YAH. Greed takes a man under. Strong willed desire will cause a man to twist Torah to make himself look great. Most greedy people are lazy. They are consumed by wants and desire. They sit and think all day long of how to CON other people. A greedy man in position bullies and abuses those under him to get the job done. He needs to claim the glory of the hard work of his subjects. This topic is an entire book. I will have to dedicate an entire site to this and break down each attribute.

The worst part of injustice is the spiritual murder. Envy causes a man/woman to commit spiritual murder. They verbally attack anything that they can't control. Their obsessive compulsive desire does not allow them control of the tongue. They will attack verbally. Extreme desire does not allow them to engage in reasoning. They are very unreasonable people.
In justice includes many evil things. Not being supportive is an injustice. You can invest as little as $10. per year in a business that supports the creator’s way of life. $10. per year won't hurt you. That is less than $1. per month. With holding financial support from businesses that supports a Torah oriented way of life is Iniquity. Copying music that praises YAH is iniquity. Using other people for your interest is iniquity. Attacking other people verbally in their absence is iniquity.
It is an injustice to the great creator to not support his blessings. You are not entitled to be envious of anyone. You can't be envious of what THE GREAT CREATOR has blessed. If you don't support businesses and you become jealous of other people, you got a real problem.
---I think I would build an entire site dealing with the attributes of "GREED AND INJUSTICE). This topic is very broad. Greedy people are spiritually sick. They are controlled by excessive and unrealistic desire. This desire causes them to practice all kinds of injustices. These injustices are all to their benefit and in their interest. Please purge yourself from your own personal iniquity. It will cause you a lot of pain. The creator will pass by and turn his face from you.
Thou shalt not take the name of the YHVH thy ELOHIM in vain ;
for the YHVH will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.
Calling the creator l-rd and g-d is miss-using his name. King James' translators substituted subtitles when they writing their version of the bible. Please don't support this act. Restore the use of the name of YHVH your Elohim. There are many other ways in which you can misuse his name. You can use THE SACRED name in lies. You can swear by the name and not mean it. You can quote sayings in the Torah that isn't there as in "THUS SAYS YHVH." You need to examine your life and remove all the practices that bring the name of YHVH to naught.
Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day ;
six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath, that is, the rest of the YHVH thy ELOHIM. Thou shalt not do any work therein, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy ox, nor thy ass, nor any of thy beasts, nor the stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest, even as thyself. Remember that thou also didst serve in Egypt, and YHVH thy ELOHIM brought thee out from thence with a strong hand, and a stretched out arm. Therefore hath he commanded thee that thou shouldst observe the Sabbath day.
This commandment asks for many things. Sis days shall you labor. You don't have a rest day on the 4th or fifth day. You are commanded to work. You have to be thorough and try to complete something. Complete your preparations for the 7th day. Don't leave everything for the last minute. Part of your weeks work is to prepare for the Sabbath. Then you rest. You allow everything around you to rest. All of your electrical oxen should rest.
Honor thy father and mother
that thy days be long in the land which YHVH thy ELOHIM gives thee.
Deut 21:18 21---
18.. If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not listen to the voice of his Abba or the voice of his Eema and will not obey them even though they chastise him.
19.. Then shall his Abba and his Eema lay hold on him, and bring him out to the Zechanim of his city and to the gate of his place.
20..And they shall say to the Zechanim of his city. This son is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey our voice. He is a glutton and a drunkard.
21. Then all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, so that he dies, so shall you put evil away from among you and Kol Yisrael hear and Fear.
TV IS A MAJOR DISTRACTION. It causes children to want to be constantly entertained.
Thou shalt not kill.
If you meditate and keep calm you will be able to control your temper.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
The ten commandments are a step by step process to a way of life. It is the basics in starting a Torah oriented way of life. If you were controlling your greed and iniquity, you will not be at this point. People don't pay enough attention to iniquity, They read right over it. If you had honored your father and mother, they would have taught you " To each his own."
Thou shalt not steal.
If you labored six days you would not have to steal. If you don't have a job, go out and help someone. Give up your pride and work for food. Iniquity is greed. Some steal the company's money, embezzle funds. We won't just asked to res., We were also told to do all that we have to-do in six days. Go to the public library and research information on a particular skill. Use your time to build a skill. Volunteer your time. Pack bags at a grocery store. Do something with your six days.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
The ten commandments are a guide of how you should start living your life, If you were making changes on commandment 1.2.3.4.5, you would know by now that YAH is truth. He knows that you are lying. If you truly respect YHVH you would tell the truth. You wouldn't care what people think. You wouldn't care about who is having a problem with facts. That's what it is. It is what it is. Tell the truth people because YHVH will visit your iniquity. It is easier to face the truth and move on. Spiritually mature people don't care about anything. They talk less so they have no reason to lie. If you cut out the petty conversion you words will be few and more meaningful. Commit and resolve to talking less and doing more.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's (goods)
house or fields, nor his male or female slaves, nor his ox or ass, or anything that belongs to him.
If you were facing up to reality on commandment 1,2,3,4.5. you will not be here at this point. You would have respected YHVH. You would have accepted his law and his will. You would have understood that everyone has their own special relationship with YHVH. You would have rid yourself of INIQUITY. Feelings of greed would have existed within you. Therefore, there will be no need to covet what YHVH gave to someone else. Whatever a man has YHVH gave it to him/her. When you covet, your problem is with YAH. You are having a problem with what YAH does and how he rewards fairly for good deeds as in Deut 28. You won't paying attention to your iniquity and now it has caught up to you. All of the other commandments, laws, statutes, ordinances etc.. depends on the basic ten. You can't approach any of the other laws if there is covetousness lodged deep with your soul. You got to clean up right here before you move on. Honor and respect YHVH as an Elohim. Respect and support what he does and what he gives to whom. If you have a problem with YHVH, you will infect your generation with that spiritual disease. YHVH WILL VISIT YOUR INIQUITY.
